About the Chapter
The American Red Cross of East Central Wisconsin has been serving the Oshkosh area and surrounding community since 1916. It also currently serves as the headquarters for the Northeast Wisconsin Region. The dedicated staff partner with more than 500 volunteers to carry-out the mission of the Red Cross.
Along with the Oshkosh office, four other offices assist in serving the ten counties the Chapter represents. These offices are located in Fond du Lac, WI, Neenah, WI, Waupaca, WI and Iron Mountain, MI. All Chapter offices play an integral part in assisting local families during times of disaster. Whether it has been a house fire, tornado or the 2008 summer floods - the American Red Cross of East
Central WI has been on the scene to assist.
The Chapter also offers a wide range of training programs from community disaster preparedness to first aid to Nursing Assistant Training, all which contributes to making the community safer. Finally, we also offer financial assistance programs which help keep the heat on in the winter for a struggling family or help a senior citizen stay connected with the community.
The East Central Chapter prides ourselves on the staff, community partnerships and collection of volunteers that make the mission of the Red Cross a reality.
** This Agency receives funding from U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and/or the State of Wisconsin Department of Commerce to provide services for homeless and near homeless individuals and their families. A requirement of this funding is that this agency participates in the Wisconsin Homeless Management Information System. This system collects basic information about clients receiving services from this agency. This requirement was enacted in order to get a more accurate count of individuals and families who are homeless and to identify the need for different services.
We only collect and share only the information that we consider to be appropriate. The collection and use of all personal information is guided by strict standards of confidentiality. A copy of our Privacy Notice describing our privacy practice is available to all consumers upon request.
Your information will be shared with other area agencies that participate in the network unless you request that your information remain confidential and be only available to case workers and intake workers within this agency. Please talk to a case manager or intake worker about keeping your records closed if you are interested.
